My Approach

  • Animist Psychology

Animist psychology is a framework that views the world through a lens of interconnectedness and Earth-honoring spirituality. It is based on the belief that all things, animate and inanimate, possess a spirit or essence. This perspective suggests that humans are not separate from the natural world but are deeply intertwined with it. Animist psychology emphasizes the importance of honoring and respecting all beings, recognizing their inherent value and agency. It often involves practices such as rituals, ceremonies, and storytelling to connect with the spiritual world and foster a sense of belonging.

  • Grief Justice

A path to collective healing. Grief justice is a framework that recognizes grief as a social justice issue and grief work as a form of activism. It acknowledges that grief is a collective experience, shaped by societal structures and historical traumas. By addressing grief through a lens of justice, we can challenge systemic injustices, foster community, and promote healing for individuals and society as a whole. Through grief justice, we can create a more compassionate and just world where grief is honored, valued, and addressed through collective action.

  • Ancestral Connection

We're interconnected with everything, including our ancestors. Ancestral connection is a profound journey into the depths of your being, connecting you with the wisdom and experiences of your ancestors. By exploring your ancestral lineage, you can gain valuable insights into your identity, purpose, and the challenges and triumphs of those who came before you. This holistic approach to healing involves rituals and developing relationships with your ancestors, helping you to deepen your understanding of yourself and the world around you, and fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment.

No-Coming and No-Going

This body is not me. I am not limited by this body, I am life without boundaries. I have never been born, and I have never died. Look at the ocean and the sky filled with stars, manifestations from my wondrous true mind. Since before time, I have been free. Birth and death are only doors through which we pass, sacred thresholds on our journey. Birth and death are a game of hide-and-seek. So laugh with me, hold my hand, let us say goodbye, say goodbye to meet again soon. We meet today. We will meet again tomorrow. We will meet at the source every moment. We meet each other in all forms of life.

— Thich Nhat Hanh

Because we cannot heal without each other.
