Taylor Franklin: Psychotherapist-In-Training
I am so glad you are here.
Hello, I'm Taylor Franklin. I'm a professional counselor in training, currently pursuing my Master's degree in Counseling with a focus on Clinical Mental Health at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
My personal journey with loss has deeply influenced my understanding of grief and its impact on individuals and communities. Having experienced the tragic loss of multiple family members in a short period, I understand the isolation and pain that can accompany such experiences.
As a future psychotherapist, I'm dedicated to offering a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore their emotions, process their experiences, and develop coping mechanisms. I specialize in grief counseling, ancestral healing, and trauma recovery.
My approach to therapy is grounded in empathy, understanding, and a belief in the power of healing through community, connection, and self-discovery. I'm also passionate about advocating for mental health awareness and social justice, and I'm committed to providing culturally attuned care.
Animist psychology and ancestral relationships have become integral to my understanding of human behavior. I believe in the interconnectedness of all things and the importance of honoring our ancestral wisdom.
I'm honored to have the opportunity to support you on your healing journey. Let's work together to navigate life's challenges and discover your inner strength.
